The final trip.

Since I had moved to Kansas on August 1st of this year, I have been lucky enough to be able to assist my good friend and research partner Kristen Sikorsky during her trips to Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park near Scott City, Kansas. We would go once a month on average, and collect data through trail cameras, photography, and notes. While our trips have been primarily work related, I have been able to explore the park and see a side of Kansas I would have never known about had it not been for Kristen. The chalk bluffs and chalk spires are a magnificent sight, and the formation of the land is truly unique compared to the rest of Kansas. While it may be a little biased, after getting to work for Kristen and to work on the park for a few months now, I would highly recommend that everyone takes a trip to the park whenever they get the chance. The trails and overlooks that have been installed make for an easy walking experience topped off with a great view.
