Squirrels for Supper??

What do you think squirrel tastes like? Does it taste like chicken you think? Well from my experience it does. I would say it tastes like the dark meat of chicken more than the breast meat. Just last nigh i was able to eat some more squirrel, and the way in which it was prepared was amazing. The squirrels that me and my son got were one of our latest hunts this last weekend. With both of us being in school and having a time constraint we couldn’t make it out in time for deer hunting, but we were able to go squirrel hunting in the backwoods of Tuttle. There were an abundant amount of squirrels for the taking. We were able to get three of them. They were at first hard to find because squirrels out in the timber are not as habituated as squirrels in the city. So once they see you they are gone. But if you can spot one or find one from far away you could be able to sneak up close enough to gee a sot off and possibly bag one. And fortunately for us we were able to get two. The joys of squirrel hunting is fun. Getting out in the outdoors is the big thing. Helps clear heads, as well as getting out and doing some sort of physical exercise. And to be able to take my son out is another benefit. It feels great to be able to show someone that nature and the outdoors can highly influence what you do and how you see things in life. Just being out in the great outdoors is fun for me. So while you are outside look up, you might find supper in a tree you are under.
